Basketball Recap: John Bartram Takes a Loss

John Bartram was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER, falling 40-11. The matchup marked the Braves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kensington to victory, but perhaps none more so than MELAGRO MERCADO-OQUENDO, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of ALLISON ALEXANDER, who put up eight points.

John Bartram's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Kensington, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

John Bartram will venture away from home to take on Overbrook at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Kensington, they will host Abraham Lincoln at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Both have allowed few points on average, (Abraham Lincoln: 25.1, Kensington: 16.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
