Baseball Recap: Columbus International Takes a Loss

Columbus International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 25-4 to the Northland Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-4 back in March.

Columbus International's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Northland, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Columbus International will face off against rival Linden-McKinley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Northland is set to take on their familiar foe East at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
