Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Taylorsville). They walked away with a 35-28 win over the Hillcrest Huskies on Friday. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly seven points.

Taylorsville can attribute much of their success to Khi Spight, who rushed for 69 yards and three touchdowns. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Spight a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Taylorsville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 281 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 63.7 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five contests they've averaged 203.7.

Despite the loss, Hillcrest still got an impressive performance from K'Von Houston, who threw for 283 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 30 yards and one score. Houston is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played.
