Volleyball Game Preview: Tri-Point Chargers vs. Lexington Minutemen + How To Watch

Tri-Point hasn't had much luck against Lexington recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Chargers will take on the Minutemen at 6:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Tri-Point came up short against Gardner-South Wilmington and fell 2-0.

Tri-Point was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Lexington came into Thursday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

Lexington easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14.

Tri-Point's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Lexington, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.

Tri-Point couldn't quite get it done against Lexington when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Chargers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
