Basketball Recap: Bangor Takes a Loss

After soaring to 55 points the game before, Bangor was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They were beaten by the Bethlehem Catholic Hawks 61-16. The loss continues a trend for the Slaters in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Avery Nelson was Bangor's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Nelson also led the team in rebounds with five.

Bangor's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Bethlehem Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.

Coming up, Bangor will take on Strath Haven at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bethlehem Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
