Wheeling waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Waukegan Bulldogs. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Wheeling had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-15, 25-16.

Wheeling's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Waukegan, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Coming up, Wheeling will take on Palatine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waukegan, they will welcome Warren Township at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
