Baseball Recap: Brantley County Comes Up Short

Brantley County lost against Jeff Davis on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Herons fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 3-2. The Herons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brantley County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clark Carter, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Brantley County's loss dropped their record down to 8-21. As for Jeff Davis, their win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Yellowjackets beat Brantley County by a score of 10-3 on Friday.
