Soccer Game Preview: Limestone vs. Richwoods

Limestone hasn't had much luck against Richwoods recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Rockets will be playing at home against the Knights at 10:00 a.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Limestone is headed into Saturday's contest following a draw, the team's first since August 30. Neither they nor Illini Bluffs could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Richwoods was not quite Urbana's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers.

Limestone's draw gives them a new season record of 10-5-2. As for Richwoods, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7-2.
