Football Game Preview: Austin vs. Faribault

On Friday Faribault take on Austin at 7:00 PM. Faribault come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.

Faribault suffered a grim 0-29 defeat to Northfield last Friday.

Meanwhile, if Austin were riding high off their 44-12 takedown of Red Wing two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Austin were completely outmatched, falling 27-63 to Owatonna. Austin were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 14-35.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend.
