Basketball Game Preview: Gunn Titans vs. Santa Clara Bruins

Gunn hasn't had much luck against Santa Clara recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Gunn Titans will host the Santa Clara Bruins at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Gunn came up short against Mountain View and fell 43-35. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Santa Clara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 49-18 loss at the hands of Mountain View. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1006th, while the Spartans are ranked 279th).

Gunn's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Santa Clara, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
