Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Cartersville after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Heritage who was credited with the victory. Heritage got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Cartersville's two.

Allatoona's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Cartersville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Allatoona took their victory against Cartersville when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 8-1. In that match, Allatoona amassed a halftime lead of 5-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
