Basketball Recap: Teagan Roser's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Vacaville over Twelve Bridges

If Vacaville was riding high fresh off their 69-43 takedown of Bella Vista last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vacaville Bulldogs took a 47-33 bruising from the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos on Monday.

Vacaville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Teagan Roser, who posted six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna L?pez, who put up seven points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Twelve Bridges to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashtyn Magee, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Maisie Dennis, who earned six points and eight steals.

Vacaville now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Twelve Bridges, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Vacaville will welcome Sacramento at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: La Ne Dunn and Lula Kifle. As for Twelve Bridges, they will host River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th.
