Baseball Recap: Marysville Comes Up Short

Marysville and Lincoln squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Marysville had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 10-9. The Monarchs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marysville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14-1. As for Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Marysville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they will square off against Olentangy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Braves have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
