Baseball Recap: Creekside Seminoles vs. M.L. King Lions
Creekside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 8-3 to the M.L. King Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-8 last Wednesday.
TAKEEVIUS THORTON was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. CAMERON MCCRARY was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Even though they lost, Creekside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.

King, a feisty cat fight will be fought as M.L. King Lions take on Jackson Jaguars at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Jackson will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something M.L. King surely won't give up without a fight.
