Softball Recap: Riverwood Takes a Loss

Riverwood managed to slip by St. Pius X Catholic the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders came up short against the Golden Lions on Tuesday, falling 10-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Raiders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Riverwood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was May Weis, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Riverwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverwood will challenge Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they will square off against Prince Avenue Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
