Kendall Johnson Game Report: vs Lincoln North Star

Kendall Johnson put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in October of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Johnson and Gretna East will head out to take on Douglas County West at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Griffins have been dominating on the road and they will enter the match having won five straight away games dating back to last season.
