Softball Game Preview: Cass Colonels vs. Allatoona Buccaneers + How To Watch

Cass is 1-6 against Allatoona since August of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Colonels will head out to take on the Buccaneers at 5:30 p.m. The last three games Cass has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Cass and Cedartown meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Colonels fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Colonels have suffered since August 9th.

Meanwhile, Allatoona came up short against Cartersville on Tuesday and fell 7-4.

Allatoona's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Cass, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.

Cass skirted past Allatoona 2-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colonels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
