Softball Recap: Wray/Yuma Comes Up Short

Wray/Yuma fell victim to Lamar and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunder. The Eagles have struggled against the Thunder recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Wray/Yuma saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clara Oestman, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double was Oestman's first of the season.

Wray/Yuma now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lamar, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Wray/Yuma didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-0 defeat against Forge Christian on the 30th. As for Lamar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 12-0 victory against Burlington on the 26th.
