Football Recap: Legacy Academy's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Legacy Academy came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Raton Tigers by a score of 21-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Silverbacks also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The critical scores for Legacy Academy came from Christian Perez, Adrian Lopez, and Xander Chavez.

When it comes to explaining why Raton lost, don't look at Cael Walton. Despite the final result, he rushed for 108 yards and one score on only 13 carries, and also picked up 41 receiving yards. Walton's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.

Legacy Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Raton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
