Soccer Recap: Kearny Takes a Loss

Kearny was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the High Tech SD Storm. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Komets couldn't quite close it out.

Kearny's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-2. As for High Tech SD, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kearny will welcome Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for High Tech SD, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Madison at 6:00 p.m.
