Softball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Monroe's offense. They came up short against the Mount Pleasant Tigers on Monday, falling 16-0. The Redhawks haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Mount Pleasant, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Monroe will be playing in front of their home fans against Queen's Grant at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Redhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Stallions have averaged an impressive 10.7 runs per game this season. As for Mount Pleasant, they will head out on the road to take on Forest Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
