The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mount Pleasant, NC) and the visiting Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), observed Mount Pleasant's softball team prevail over Monroe by a tally of 16-0.

The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Yellow Jackets go into the Rocky River 4A/5A bout with a 1-7 record. In their last bout, Forest Hills was routed by Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 7-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Redhawks clash with the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 1. Monroe will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record.
