West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), 18-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, West Stanly upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Colts host Monroe (Monroe, NC) to play the Redhawks in a Rocky River 4A/5A game on Tuesday, March 17. The Redhawks enter the game with a record of 1-6. Monroe won 15-7 in their recent non-league game against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)
