Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Christian vs. Johns Creek

The Trinity Christian Lions will venture away from home to square off against the Johns Creek Gladiators at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Trinity Christian who was credited with the win last Thursday. The Lions got it done in the shootout by posting eight goals to Dutchtown's seven. Trinity Christian's winning goal came courtesy of Wyatt Sakrison.

Johns Creek is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Milton, who was ranked 15th at the time (Johns Creek was ranked 14th). While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Eagles who were credited with the victory last Tuesday. Milton got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Johns Creek's two. It was the first time this season that Johns Creek let down their fans at home.

Trinity Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three games. As for Johns Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-2.
