Basketball Recap: Villa Joseph Marie Comes Up Short

Villa Joseph Marie was the 40-31 winner over Mt. St. Joseph Academy when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Villa Joseph Marie Jems took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic. The Jems have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Villa Joseph Marie's record now sits at 3-3. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Villa Joseph Marie will head out to square off against Nazareth Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Penncrest at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
