Willits entered their tilt with Calistoga on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with  a   38-29  victory over the Calistoga Wildcats. This was payback for the Wolverines, who suffered  a  49-47  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Willits got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Cecily Potter out in front who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and 11  boards. Potter is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last four games she's  played.  Lyly Herman was another key player,  putting up nine  points.
 Despite the  defeat, Calistoga saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Italia Barrera  posted 12 points.
Willits' victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Calistoga,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-4.
 Willits wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  44-36  win against Victory Christian Academy on the 10th. As for Calistoga, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  30-29  victory against Credo on the 10th.
