Soccer Recap: Pleasant Grove's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday

Pleasant Grove's and Monterey Trail's matchup on Friday was close at halftime, but Pleasant Grove turned on the heat in the second half with three goals. The Pleasant Grove Eagles never let the Monterey Trail Mustangs onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Mustangs are ranked 488th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
