Football Recap: Midlothian Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Midlothian kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost to the Cedar Hill Longhorns on the road by a 29-13 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Longhorns: they've now lost three in a row.

Midlothian's loss came despite strong showings from Brendyn Jackson and Beau Wendel. Jackson picked up 112 receiving yards and two TDs, while Wendel threw for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Looking ahead, Midlothian will welcome Ennis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cedar Hill, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
