Centennial is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 66-43 margin over Villa Park. The win was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Centennial to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cydenee Bryant, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards. Bryant is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahjoy Turner, who went 6-for-13 en route to 16 points.
Centennial was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Brentwood School over Heritage in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Brentwood School blew Heritage out of the water with an 80-45 final score. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Eagles had established a 29 point advantage.
Brentwood School's win came from a few key players Centennial will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kelsey Sugar, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Lev Feiman, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 14 points along with six boards and three steals.
Brentwood School is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.2 points over those games. As for Centennial, they pushed their record up to 16-9 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Centennial has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Brentwood School struggles in that department as they've been averaging 37.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
