West Union is a perfect 4-0 against Wellston since August of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Dragons will challenge the Golden Rockets at 5:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, West Union came up short against Clermont Northeastern and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Wellston's offense. They came up short against Clay on Thursday, falling 5-0. That's two games in a row now that Wellston have lost by exactly five goals.

Wellston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for West Union, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-2.

West Union took their win against Wellston in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
