Basketball Recap: Tehachapi Beats Shafter for Their Third Straight Victory + How To Watch

Tehachapi extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 6-2. They blew past the Shafter Generals 70-48. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tehachapi to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Carte, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 20 points. Conner Jenkins was another key player, going 5-for-12 on his way to 13 points in addition to six assists and six steals.

Tehachapi was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

As for Shafter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since November 23, 2024.
