El Dorado is headed into their contest with Argonaut looking for a result a bit more satisfying than what they got in their season opener against Casa Roble on Thursday. El Dorado and Casa Roble finished up their match with a 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Argonaut made sure to put some goals up on the board against Escalon on Tuesday. They blew past the Cougars 7-1. That looming 7-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mustangs yet this season.

They hit Escalon with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kailey Carney (3), Brookelynn Lockhart (2), Megan Henness, and Bailey Baker.
