Soccer Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

After flying high against Thomas County Central last Friday, Northside came back down to earth. The Northside Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Veterans Warhawks on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Warhawks: they've now lost six in a row.

Northside now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Veterans, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Northside has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Coffee on the 14th. As for Veterans, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Thomas County Central on the 14th.
