Meanwhile, Big Bear waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 6-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 11 games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Silver Valley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kennedy Meadors (3), Sophie Ragsdale, Brenda Javier, and Aline Gonzalez Velazquez.

Big Bear is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 60 goals over those ten contests. As for Summit Leadership Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
