Baseball Recap: Curtis Comes Up Short

Curtis came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-3 to the Sumner Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since March 26th.

Curtis' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-8. As for Sumner, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Curtis nor Sumner have any future games scheduled.
