Softball Recap: Norfolk Finds Home Field Redemption Against Standing Bear

There's no place like home for Norfolk, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Standing Bear Grizzlies 9-8.

The win got Norfolk back to even at 5-5. As for Standing Bear, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4.

Coming up, Norfolk will venture away from home to face off against Elkhorn South at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Standing Bear, they will host Skutt Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Grizzlies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the SkyHawks have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
