Basketball Recap: Los Altos Takes a Loss

Los Altos was the 42-27 winner over Lynbrook when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Los Altos Eagles took a 39-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lynbrook Vikings on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 528th, while the Vikings are ranked 183rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Los Altos and nudges their season record down to 4-11. As for Lynbrook, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Los Altos will welcome Monta Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lynbrook, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
