Basketball Recap: Escalon Takes a Loss

Escalon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kimball Jaguars.

Emma Coronado was her usual excellent self, putting up 17 points for Kimball. The matchup was Coronado's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Robinson, who posted ten points.

Escalon's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Kimball, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Escalon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-30 win against Pittsburg on the 28th. As for Kimball, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-38 defeat against East Union on the 28th.
