Baseball Recap: Carver Comes Up Short

Carver lost against Jordan back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Red Jackets, falling 18-3. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Carver has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Jordan, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Carver will welcome Kendrick at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Cherokees at the right time seeing as the Cherokees are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Jordan, they will head out on the road to take on Shaw at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Jackets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
