Football Recap: Jefferson West Tigers vs. Holton Wildcats
It was a proper cat-fight when Jefferson West took on Holton on Friday. The Tigers walked away with a 27-17 victory over the Wildcats. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 48-9 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.
A big part of Jefferson West's victory came down to the chemistry between Brixton Schwinn and his top target Brody Schwinn. Brixton threw for 255 yards and four touchdowns while Brody picked up 137 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Despite the loss, Holton still got an impressive performance from Korban Wilson, who rushed for 115 yards and one score. Wilson showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 51 yards. Alec Frazier helped out on the ground, rushing for 98 yards.
