In what's become a running theme this season, Douglas County gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lithia Springs Lions an 11-0 shutout. The victory was just what Douglas County needed coming off of a 16-1 loss in their prior contest.

James Johnson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Johnson was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
