Meadowbrook Christian picks up sixth straight win at home

Meadowbrook Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Belleville Mennonite as Meadowbrook Christian made off with a 48-22 win. That looming 48-22 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Meadowbrook Christian yet this season.

Leading Meadowbrook Christian to victory were Kailey Devlin and Madalyn Fasnacht. Devlin scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Fasnacht scored 24 points along with three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Devlin has scored at least 25% of Meadowbrook Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Alayna Smith, who scored four points along with six rebounds.

Meadowbrook Christian pushed their record up to 5-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Belleville Mennonite, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadowbrook Christian's homestand continues as they prepare to take on North Penn-Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th. North Penn-Liberty will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 190th, while Meadowbrook Christian is ranked 41st). Belleville Mennonite will be home for the holidays to greet Juniata Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Juniata Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
