Soccer Game Preview: Chadwick vs. Flintridge Prep

Chadwick is 0-8-2 against Flintridge Prep since April of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Dolphins will head out on the road to face off against Wolves at 3:30 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Chadwick turned things around against GALA on Saturday. They beat the Goddesses by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given Chadwick's disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 675th, while GALA are ranked 307th).

Meanwhile, Flintridge Prep kept a clean sheet against Mayfield on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Cubs. The victory continues a trend for Flintridge Prep in their matchups with Mayfield: they've now won four in a row.

Flintridge Prep's one-goal win came courtesy of Sienna Hagga, who's now up to five this season.

Chadwick's record now sits at 4-13-3. As for Flintridge Prep, their record is now 12-4-3.

Chadwick came up short against Flintridge Prep in their previous matchup back in January, falling 3-1. Can the Dolphins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
