Softball Recap: Chapel Hill Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thursday just wasn't the day for Chapel Hill's offense. They came up short against the Carrollton Trojans on Thursday, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Carrollton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Chapel Hill will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Coweta at 5:00 p.m. on September 9. As for Carrollton, they will head out to take on Northgate at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
