Recap: Colton Yellowjackets vs. Nogales Nobles
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Colton Yellowjackets had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 63-32 victory over the Nobles. Colton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.
Defeat or not, Nogales got some senior leadership from Shady Robles and Ariana Martinez. Robles scored 16 points, while Martinez. scored nine points.
Colton is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Nogales, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.
Colton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-53 victory vs. Desert Hot Springs on the 10th. Nogales does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
