Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gadsden). They claimed a resounding 54-0 win over the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors. The Panthers have beaten the Desert Warriors the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Desert Warriors has come to flipping the script.

Gadsden's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JUAN RIOS, who rushed for 132 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries. ARMANDO RAMIREZ was another key rusher, rushing for 103 yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Gadsden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 337 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August.

Gadsden now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Santa Teresa, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
