Soccer Game Preview: Summit vs. Colton

Summit is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will host the Colton Yellowjackets at 3:15 p.m.

Summit is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against St. Lucy's on Thursday. The SkyHawks lost 4-1 to the Regents.

Meanwhile, Colton got the win against Perris on Friday by a conclusive 5-1. Fans of Colton have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Colton's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Summit, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Summit skirted past Colton 2-1 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Will the SkyHawks repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
