Unity Christian never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Central Lyon Lions. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Unity Christian and bumps their season record up to 10-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Central Lyon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Unity Christian and Central Lyon could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings.
