Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southwest SD). They blew past the Orange Glen Patriots 56-13 on Saturday. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 33 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southwest SD to victory, but perhaps none more so than Pilar Carrera, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazlyn Martinez, who scored 14 points.

The victory was the third in a row for Southwest SD, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.7 points per game. As for Orange Glen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Southwest SD and Crawford will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Orange Glen will take on Rock Academy in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
