Basketball Recap: Viewpoint Takes a Loss

Viewpoint was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 68-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trinity Classical Academy Knights.

Trinity Classical Academy found their leader in sophomore Noa Pe?a, who went 8-for-11 to rack up 26 points and five boards. The matchup was Pe?a's fifth in a row with at least 17 points. Naomi Richardson was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Viewpoint's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Trinity Classical Academy, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

Viewpoint wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-22 defeat against Brentwood School on the 2nd. As for Trinity Classical Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 92-23 win against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy on the 2nd.
